Textured Floral and Delightfully Electric DSP

Yesterday I created several cards from a one sheet wonder template using the Delightfully Electric Designer Series paper pack and if you watched that video then you know you can get this amazing paper pack of 48 sheets for free with a $50 online order through my store. You might want to place that order today, as time is running out as our Sale-a-Bration event ends this Thursday, February 29th.

Today, I took a 2 x 5½ strip of the same designer series print from yesterdays video, turned it over for the pink stripe side and stamped with one of the small flowers from the Textured Floral stamp set to create a floral look on top of the stripes. I used Berry Burst ink to stamp the flowers and Garden Green to add the green accents. I stamped the splatter ink with Fresh Freesia ink and I have to say they all coordinate perfectly. Below is an image of the pattern that I choose. The one of the left is from yesterday’s video and if you flip it over you get the one on the right, the one I used for today’s card.

Here is the card I created today using the strip of designer series paper on the right.

I stamped the greeting from the set with Berry Burst ink and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I added a 1 inch strip of Garden Green CS along both sides of my DSP strip. You can cut a piece of Garden Green that measures 2¼ x 5½ but I had a few 1″ strips in my scrap bin so I decided to save a little paper. So next time you are looking at some striped patterned paper that you are not sure how to use it, think outside the box and add some stamped images like the sample shown above. It really makes your paper take on a whole new look. Happy Stamping!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae
