The Florals In Bloom paper pack does not disappoint. It is colorful and makes me think of a sunny spring day. So I thought why not do a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder (OSW). This is a 12 x 12 paper pack so you will need to cut the paper of your choice down just a bit. The good news is that you get four- 6×6 pieces out of one sheet. And today, we are making 3 cards out of one 6 x 6 section, so let’s get started.

Florals In Bloom-Five Minute Friday

It’s a five minute birthday kind of Friday. I am using the new Florals in Bloom designer series paper pack to create a fast and fabulous card. I began with a Melon Mambo card base and added a 5-3/*8 x 4-1/8 panel of Basic White. My designer series paper measures 4 x 5-1/4 and in attached to the Basic white and then the card front.

I added a strip of Melon Mambo (1/2 x 4-1/4) to create a faux ribbon look. The greeting is from Unbounded Love and stamped with Melon Mambo ink. I used the Heartfelt Hexagon punch to crop the greeting and added it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a little bling and your five minute card is complete. Again, this is the Florals in Bloom designer series paper pack and it is gorgeous. Have fun creating this card layout. Happy Stamping!

Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Gift and Note Card Holders~Make It Monday#212

Happy Monday everyone. Did you know that Christmas is less than 6 months away. With the weather in full sun and humidity here in St. Louis, it is hard to think about Christmas, but today’s video is all about gift and note card holders. I am featuring a LAST CHANCE product, Grow In Love! I am using the envelope die from the bundle to create fun holiday gift and note card holders. They are so sweet, I am sure you are going to love them. Even better, they don’t have to be for the holidays! You can use them for birthday gifts, wedding gifts, Mother and Father’s day gifts or that special thank you gift!

Here is a closer look at theses sweet gift and note card holders!

I hope you enjoy creating these gift and note card holders. Any 6 x 6 designer series paper will work for this project. So if it is too early to start thinking about Christmas, I get it. And if you are like my dear friend, Sr. Bernard and myself, then it is never too early to start crafting for Christmas. It is probably a little early for the countdown, but never for the creating! LOL Happy Stamping!

You Are Remarkable ~ Five Minute Friday

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are all enjoying your freedom. I know I am so I wanted to give a shout out to all our military friends for keeping us save. We so appreciate you! If you have plans with your family this weekend, then you are in luck because today’s five minute card is super quick giving you plenty of time to get those hamburgers on the grill.

I am using the online exclusive, You Are Remarkable, stamp set. This card is super easy and them most time consuming part is the background that I created using the tiny, but interesting, image in this set. Here is a time saving tip: You don’t need to stamp the entire background. Since you are placing the flower image over the background, you only need to stamp around the edges. I made a light mark using a pencil on the four corners of my image for the front, that way I did not have to waste my time stamping images that aren’t going to show.

I used Basic Beige ink to stamp the borders of my card front. The Basic White fancy border was cut using the second to the largest die from Textured Notes dies. I stamped my flower image and greeting with Pecan Pie on a Basic White that measures 3 x 4-1/2. I used a blending brush and some Crumb Cake ink to add a little dimension around all the edges and then stamped the dotted image in crumb cake ink, stamping off to get a lighter image around the blended border. Add a few butterflies for your bling and you have a beautiful card to share with someone who needs a little love.

I hope you enjoy creating with this set. Because it is a two step set, no coloring is required. I used Darling Duckling for the flower and Old Olive for the leaves. Happy Fourth of July and Happy Stamping!

Until next time, be blessed, Renae
