I am back with another video tutorial where I have featured 4 simple cards using one 6×6 sheet of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. Pictured below is one of those cards. Supplies

Crumb Cake Cardstock-5 ½ x 8 ½ (card)
Basic White Cardstock- 2½ x 3½ (penguins and hats)
Peaceful Prints DSP- 2 ¼ x 3-7/8
Basic Black Cardtock-2 -3/8 x 4, 2¼ x 3½ (penguins)
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock-1 x 2½
Penguin Place Bundle
Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set
Memento Black Ink
Pumpkin Pie Ink
Real Red Ink
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive
Mini Glue Dots

Directions

Score 8½ x 5½ Crumb Cake cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold & burnish to create card.
Layer the Peaceful Prints DSP panel to the Basic Black panel and attach to card front.
Use the Penguin Punch to punch the bodies in white and black cardstock.
Stamp eyes and nose on penguins.
Punch penguin feet from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and attach to penguins with glue dots.
Stamp greeting from Evergreen Elegance in Memento Black ink.
Decorate inside as desired.

Peek-a-Boo! Penguin Playmates

Christmas 2021, Paper Crafting Ideas, Sale-a-Bration / August 10, 2021

I know, I know, it is still 137 days until Christmas, but I just could not wait to share this stinkin’ cute card and the fun Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. Plus, I had to show this to you because you can only get this paper FREE until September 30th.

This adorable paper is pictured on page 4 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure! I created this card the circles from the new Picture This Dies on page 164 in the 2021-2022 annual catalog. It was super simple. Just use the dies to crop the circles from Fresh Freesia cardstock and from the Penguin Playmates DSP, cut whatever cute adorable playmate you want to peek through the circles of your card.

I used my paper snips to cut out these cute playmates and attached them to a piece of white cardstock and then attached the circles on top. I stamped the greeting from Peaceful Deer in Misty Moonlight ink in one of the circles and attached the layer to my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals!

Angels of Peace-Good People Kind Hearts

We arrived safely home from our travels and it is back to work. And while work can be fun, it is not as exciting as the roll out of a new mini catalog. Yep! Today is the first day for the new July – December mini catalog. I know that is super confusing, since it is August, but I am sure you are familiar with shipping issues and delayed postal deliveries! Trust me this was worth the wait!

Here is a card I created using the Angels of Peace, a new set in the July-December mini catalog. It is pictured on page 42. I used the Ornate Layers Dies to border the angel with Very Vanilla cardstock. I cut a 2¼ x 3¾ piece of Very Vanilla to fit inside the frame and punched the greeting using the Label Me Fancy punch.

I stamped the angel in Memento Black ink and colored her with the pastel chalks. This was the first time I played with the new pastels and I love them. I used a combination of Q-tips and the Blender Pens to create color. The pastels pair perfectly with this angel set, giving it a soft glow of color.

Yesterday my upline, Brian King, had a Christmas Blog hop. If you missed it, click here! After creating those adorable snow playmates, I just could not help myself, so here is another Christmas in July card. This time, the bundle I used Evergreen Elegance is in the annual catalog on page 91, so you can purchase it now and get a head start of your holiday cards!

Cutting Measurements

All Measurement=inches CS=Cardstock DSP=Designer Series Paper Landscape Position=Long side Portrait Position=short side

Supplies

Shaded Spruce Cardstock- 5½ x 8½ (card base)
Basic White Cardstock- 4 x 5¼
Evergreen Elegance Bundle
Shaded Spruce Ink
So Saffron Ink
Bumblebee Ink
Smoky Slate Ink
Balmy Blue Ink
Blending Brushes
Stamparatus
Water Painters
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive

Directions

Score the Shaded Spruce cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold and burnish to create card base.
On the Basic White panel, stamp the trees in Shaded Spruce ink and stamp off a second time for a lighter image. Randomly stamp the small star in So Saffron ink.
Use the Water Painters and Smoky Slate ink to create shadows beneath the trees.
Use the Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue ink to create the clouds and sky.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp greeting and attach to card front.
