After our hearts blog hop on Wednesday I decided to give the Heart Punch pack another try. Sometimes when an idea in my head looks totally different on paper, I turn to one of my favorite things, our fabulous designer series paper packs. After all it is really hard to mess up a card with all our wonderful pattern choices.
Today I combined the Dainty Flowers DSP pack and the Hues of Happiness paper pack and I have to admit, I am not disappointed. I love how the colors in these two papers come together to make a super simple sympathy card. While sending sympathy cards is never on my favorite list, creating cards with love is.

Fresh Freesia CS – 5½ x 8½ (card base)
Basic White CS – 4 x 5¼
Gorgeous Grape CS – 4 x 5¼, scrap

I am really going to make an effort this month to feature more of our In-Colors. We have so many fabulous colors, sometimes I forget about the In-Colors. Today’s card was created using Tahitian Tide. I sponged some of the color around the greeting and attached it to my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sweet set is the Nestled Friends Bundle from the January-April mini catalog. If you are a bird lover, this set is for you and I think you are really going to love the detailed dies for the birds nest. I colored my bird, nest and branches using watercolor pencisl
The eggs are cut using the dies in the bundle from Balmy Blue because I thought the Tahitian Tide was a bit too bright for a robin’s egg. Don’t forget you can use the Blender Pens to blend your coloring!
Project Measurements
Tahitian Tide CS- 5½ x 8½ (card base), 3 x 4
Basic White CS: 4 x 5¼ -(3), 1 x 2½
Balmy Blue CS: 1 x 3

One of my favorite things about the holidays is spending time with family and friends. Today I am excited to share two Christmas cards that I received in the mail from two very good friends.
I thought they would be perfect to share with you because I do not have either of these sets! I know that is shocking that I don’t own everything in the catalog, but it’s true. So enjoy these two special cards from my special friends. Thank Dolores and Judy for sharing your talents with us.

For those of you who know me, then you know Christmas is my favorite time of the year, next to Fall. It is not the presents, but the lights. I love love love the cozy and peaceful feeling of having the Christmas light on at night and on a dreary day. It just seems to lift the spirits and gives everyone hope and joy.
Today’s card is all about joy and the greeting is from our Brightest Glow Bundle. I hope this holiday season fills you with hope, peace and joy.
#blessedbycards
I created today’s card using the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper with a Garden Green card base. The joy is from Brightest Glow and the jingle bell is from Jingle, Jingle, Jingle. This is a very basic and simple card, so I did not include measurements. Enjoy!

When my daughter was in late grade school and all through high school we loved the thrill of Black Friday. Each year we would travel to Bloomington/Normal IL to see my cousins for Thanksgiving and spend the night so we could hit the stores super early on Black Friday. One of our favorite things to do Thanksgiving evening in the hotel was to thumb through the many ads in the newspaper and plan or shopping spree. Well I am sad to say those days are over.
Not because we got tired of shopping on Black Friday, but because each year there were fewer flyers in the newspaper and one by one all the stores at Eastland Mall closed. Now Black Friday starts way before Thanksgiving and shopping online is just not as exciting.
So instead of shopping, we craft and today I am happy to share a card I created using the Decorated with Happiness Bundle and the Celebrate with Tags Bundle.
#blessedbycards
So whether you are shopping, crafting, decorating for Christmas or eating Thanksgiving leftovers, enjoy this time with family and have a blessed weekend!

One of my favorite things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is hosting in-person stamping events. Each month I host an afternoon and evening in-person stamp camp class. I love the friends I have created by hosting these events. It truly is one of my favorite things, spending time with friends and stamping of’ course.
#blessedbycards
Today’s card is just one we will be making today at camp. It features the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper, Evening Evergreen CS and the Brightest Glow stamp set. I accented the DSP with the Gold Specialty Paper featured in the 2022-2023 annual catalog. I love how elegant this card turned out.
The only thing better than hosting a stamp camp class with friends is hosting camp at the same time as our Seasonal Sale. Don’t forget the Seasonal Sale ends today. If you missed the details click here.
If you live in the St. Louis area, click here to access my online calendar of events. We would love to have you join us!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is the lights on a Christmas tree. We typically decorate our tree with both the big old fashion colored bulbs and tiny white lights. The combination is fun and festive.
Now I did not say I enjoy putting them on the tree, but I love how they look when it is all decorated. I think you will love today’s tree card. I features the Trees for Sale stamp set in the July-December 2022.
#blessedbycards
My basic card colors are Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron. While I did add a splash of color with a Daffodil Delight star and some Cherry Cobbler ornaments, I still love the look of the Shaded Spruce with Mint Macaron. I did not get the coordinating dies during Sale-a-bration 2022 so I fussy cut my tree.

I am not sure what kind they are supposed to be, but I do know the most popular Christmas trees are the Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Scotch Pine and Colorado Blue Spruce, with the Balsam Fir being the most fragrant.
