Sometimes I just feel like creating a clean and simple card, nothing fancy, just a simply beautiful card. The card I created today is from our note cards on page 173 in the annual catalog. The folded card measures 5 x 3 ½”.
Begin with a Basic White Note card that measures 3 ½ x 5”. This note card comes pre-scored and includes a coordinating envelope.
Stamp the Thank you greeting from the Sweet Strawberry Bundle in Memento Black ink.
Stamp the small flower in Memento Black ink four times and color the center with a Daffodil Stampin’ Blend.
Add a small bow using the Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and a glue dot under the greeting.
Arrange three small flowers to the left of the greeting.
For inside of stamp the greeting in Memento Black ink and add one small flower.
These note cards are fabulous for creating a quick and simple thank you card. There are 20 cards and envelopes in each pack. Check them out and be sure to use the Host code: ZDHDYH2D
Some days one just feels more blessed than other. While it was a crazy and different Christmas Season, I feel so blessed that both of my children could come home for the holidays. Game nights are always a hoot at our house! Throw in a little Moscow Mules (them) and some Chardonnay (me) and things really become interesting.
At any rate I am blessed and I know it so todays card is just an expression of my gratitude and it features the To A Wild Rose stamp set on page 15 of the Annual Catalog. It is Sale-A-Bration time, so if you add this set and the coordinating dies, you can choose a FREE set or paper pack from the Sale-A-Brations catalog.
The To a Wild Rose stamp set is two-step stamp which basically means the stamps coordinate and build on the detail of the image. Using the Stamparatus is very helpful with working with two-step images.
Begin with a Basic White card base 5 ½ x 8 ½. Score in landscape position at 4 ¼”.
Using the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine dry emboss a 4 x 5¼” piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Subtle embossing folder.
On a 3 ½ x 4 ¾ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp Blessed in Memento Ink near the lower right corner.
On a scrap piece of white cardstock stamp the outline image of the Rose in Memento Black ink. Next stamp the totally solid rose image in Blushing Bride ink and finally stamp the detailed rose image in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Using the Wild Rose dies, cut out the Rose. Put three Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Rose, but do not peel off the adhesive.
Stamp the leaves outline stamp in Memento Black ink on the card, using the Rose as a guide. Stamp the solid green image of the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink.
Peel off the Stampin’ Dimensional adhesive and position over the leaves.
Add three Rhinestones around on the white cardstock.
Today’s card is a sneak peek at the NEW Sweet Strawberry stamp set featured in the JJ2021 mini catalog and the Berry Blessings stamp set featured in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. Berry Blessings. The Berry Delight Designer Series paper pack and the Berry Blessing set is FREE with a $100 purchase beginning on January 5, 2021.
I created this card for my daughters totally “sweet” roommate to thank her for some delicious homemade granola. It is always a blessing with your children have great friends!
Begin with a Pacific Point card base 5½ x 8½”. Score in landscape position at 4¼”.
Cut a 2 x 5½” strip of the Berry Delightful Designer Series Pack and cut again at 1½”. You should have a 1½” and a ½” strip.
Flip the ½” strip to coordinate with the larger strip and adhere across the center of the card.
Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine and the Layering circle dies, cut a scallop circle from Night of Navy cardstock and a plain circle from White cardstock. Adhere the white circle to the Night of Navy.
Using the Sweet Strawberry bundle stamp the strawberry in Real Red, the outline of the strawberry and the leaves in Memento Black and the solid leaves in Granny Apple Green and punch out using the Strawberry Builder Punch.
TIP:I made a template for the Strawberry Builder Punch and placed the template in my Stamparatus. Then I matched up the desired images using the template. Once I had my stamps aligned with the template, I used a piece of white cardstock to punch out all images. Then one at at time I placed my punched images back into the template and stamped with the desired color. I found this method easier and quicker the traditional stamp and punch. Another advantage to stamping this way is that you waste less cardstock every time you punch.
Layer the strawberries and leaves on the white circle and the circles onto the strip of designer series paper.
Stamp the Thank You sentiment in either Night of Navy or Memento Black ink.
For the inside add a 4 x 5 ½” layer of white cardstock and stamp the sentiment in Pacific Point ink.
Using the berries from the Berry Blessings set, stamp the outline in Memento Black and the solid in Pacific Point ink.
This was a very easy thank you card that took no time at all. I love the way these two sets pair perfectly together. The Sweet Strawberry set will be available for purchase beginning January 5th. Wow! Can you believe that it is only 13 more days until Thanksgiving and 41 until Christmas. Now is the time to start a Journal of Gratitude and write down at least 10 things a day that you are thankful for! What a wonderful way to celebrate all the blessings we have received this year, despite the many set backs.
And of course we offer prayer for those suffering physically, mentally and/or financially! With gratitude on my mind, I just want to say how much I truly appreciate all my customers, followers and stamping friends. Sending virtual hugs to wherever you may be!
With that being said, I could not resist a fall Thank you card. I decided to combine the Country Home stamp set from the annual catalog with the new Beautiful Autumn Bundle from the August – December mini. If you have not purchased this bundle, there is still time. Don’t forget to use the host code: 4SFDFVEX. If your order is $150 or more, skip the code so that you can enjoy the Stampin’ Rewards! Let me know if you have any questions or issues.
I stated with a Misty Moonlight card base. Did you know Misty Moonlight is the number one selling color? I added a layer of Very Vanilla (4 x 5 1/4) and in Misty Moonlight stamped the country container in the lower right corner. The flowery images and wheat is from the Beautiful Autumn set and I masked the country container so it would look more realistic.
I used the water color painters to add some Misty Moonlight color to the canister. The greeting from the Beautiful Autumn set and is stamped in, you guessed it Misty Moonlight! And of’ course, I could not resist a matching bow. I used Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede and Early Expresso for the leaves and pinecones.
On the inside I added a 4 x 5 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the greeting in Misty Moonlight. The little birdie is from the Quite Curvy Bundle that was left over from yesterday’s project. I think it looks really sweet on top of the greeting. Click here if you missed yesterdays post.
Thanks for stopping by. Come on back tomorrow for some more crafting fun. Until then, be blessed! Feel free to leave a comment. Stamping Hugs and Blessings, Renae
I have been using a lot of the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper, but I always seem to go for the traditional fall colors, so today I am challenging myself to use one of the other colors. I decided to go with the Seaside Spray and the Melon Mambo. I am using the Beautiful Autumn and Quite Curvy Bundles, the Country Home stamp set and squares from the Stitched Shape Dies. A little birdie told me to do it! (hee hee)
I used the Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo blends to color in the birdies. The leaf and the acorn is stamped with Sahara Sand and Cinnamon Cider. The greeting from Country Home is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. This is the stamp that I cut apart and today I am using the part I removed for the inside greeting!
I think it would look sweet to stamp a few birdies on the inside too! I really like the softness of this card and even though it is not traditional fall colors, it works! I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful today. Feel free to email or snail mail me your creations, I would love to share them with others! As always comments are always welcome! Until next time, be blessed!
I just love a beautiful fall day and that is exactly what we had here yesterday. But as they say in Mary Poppins, the winds are a changing and I think today we are in for some much cooler weather. But hey, after all it is November.
My card today is a little fall fun on the diagonal to celebrate all the colorful changes of the seasons. I began with a Pretty Peacock card base and added a matching diagonal accent using the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. I added a small strip of Bumble Bee cardstock and then followed the diagonal with some leaves and acorns from the Beautiful Autumn Bundle.
I stamped the greeting from County Home in Pretty Peacock ink and yes, I actually cut my greeting to separate “Simply Thankful” from “For All Good Things”. I love both of those greetings, but I do admit I use the Simply Thankful a lot! The leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie and Bumble Bee. The acorns are stamped in Cinnamon Cider.
For the inside of my card I added a piece of Very Vanilla, stamped the greeting in Pretty Peacock ink and added a few leaves and acorns to the bottom corner. I really love this fall set and have made tons of cards. I am really hoping it carries over to the annual catalog this summer. Let me know what you think of this set!
Now here is a real picture of my backyard! While it is so pretty those fall colors, I am not looking forward to racking! YIKES! Thank for stopping by today. Feel free to leave a comment ! Until next time, be blessed! Stamping Hugs and Blessings, Renae
My card today does not use the typical Thanksgiving Holiday colors but was a color challenge I did with Brian King this past summer using So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo and Cinnamon Cider. While the colors are not traditional, the sentiment of feeling blessed is just perfect for this time of year.
Brian is so great with color combos, but this was actually my first ever color challenge and I may have cheated a bit and threw in some green, who knew! I started with a So Saffron card base and added a layer of Cinnamon Cider 4 x 5 1/4. The Flirty Flamingo Layer is cut at 4 5/8 x 3 3/8 and I stamped the rose from To a Wild Rose set on Whisper White using our Flirty Flamingo ink. Two of the roses are stamped directly on the piece of Whisper White and the one in the middle is cut out using the rose die from the bundle.
I stamped the Blessed sentiment in memento black and added some basic jeweled rhinestones. I also decided to decorate the inside of the card with a strip of all the colors in the challenge and some more rhinestones. The leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink and the sentiment is also from the To A Wild Rose set.
I hope you liked this card and feel inspired to use this color combo from Brian King to create something beautiful today. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will leave a comment and stop back tomorrow for some more crafty cards! Stamping Hugs and Blessings, Renae.
It doesn’t take much effort to thank someone and yet, that could very well be the best part of their day. Whenever we take the time to acknowledge the efforts of someone else, not only are their spirits lifted, but ours as well. My husband and I always tried to instill a sense of gratitude in our children, first to our Lord and Savior, but also to others for the gifts they often bring to the table. It is never too late to send a thank you and one can send a note of thanks for almost anything, including a valued friendship. So go ahead and copy this card and send a thank you to someone today.
The paper I used to create this card is from the Flowers for All Seasons Designer Series pack. There are 48 6×6 sheets and I love them all. The greeting is from Butterfly Gala. Shop Now! Hope you have a blessed day and enjoy creating to share with others.
