Thank You

Blessings of home-Favorite things Friday

I know I have said this before, but truly one of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! is the coordination of products. I love the look and quality of our Designer Series Papers (DSP) and how easy it is to create a professional looking card.

Todays card features the Blessings of Home Bundle along with the Home and Heart Designer Series paper pack and it coordinates perfectly with Cinnamon Cider, one of our In-Colors. I added a layer of Early Espresso to the card front to really make this lovely designer paper pop.

I added a strip of Early Espresso cardstock across the lower portion of my card front and used the Label Me Lovely punch to add an accent of Early Espresso. I stamped the greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, then punched it out with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I love this layered look. Both of these punches are featured in the 2021-2022 annual catalog.

Project Supplies and Measurements

  • Cinnamon Cider CS-5½ x 8½, (card base)
  • Early Espresso CS- 4-1/8 x 5-3/8, 3/8 x4, 2×3
  • Very Vanilla CS- 1 x 3½
  • Home and Heart DSP-4 x 5¼
  • Blessings of Home Bundle
  • Label Me Lovely Punch
  • Lovely Labels Pick A Punch
  • Early Espresso Ink
  • Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue

If you have not had a chance to order this paper pack, I highly recommend it. I think it would also coordinate nicely with Garden Wishes and Dragonfly Garden Bundles also featured in the annual catalog.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Dahlia Days -Thank you for Your Kindness

Isn’t in amazing how one random acts of kindness makes a difference. I always feel good when I create a special card and just send it out for no reason. I know there are lots of ways to show kindness, but what can I say I love making cards.

I was so sad when the Delightful Dahlias retired a few months ago, but I have to say I might love this baby dahlia bundle even more. These flowers are so sweet they make it easy to say thank you, thinking of you, or so sorry for you loss.

Today’s card begins with an Evening Evergreen card base. I added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock and used some of our designer series paper to create an angled card. I really am loving the look of these card fronts and what a great way to use our leftover designer paper.

The flowers are stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped the greeting in Memento Black and attached it and the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves are stamped with Soft Succulent ink on Soft Succulent cardstock and cropped with the dies from the Bundle.

Project Supplies and Measurements

  • Evening Evergreen CS- 5½ x 8½ (card base)
  • Very Vanilla CS-4 x 5¼, 3 x 4

Simply Flowing Flowers

Hello my stamping friends, I am back today with another Favorite Things Friday featuring a clean and simple card using the new Flowing Flowers stamp set in the January – June 2022 mini catalog. This set is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the new catalog.

I love how simple and elegant these flowers look, especially when you stamp them in a variety of colors.

My card today begins with a Basic White card base and I used Melon Mambo, Highland Heather and Old Olive inks. The light gray highlight around the card is just so you can see the image more clearly. Although it would also look good backed with Smoky Slate CS-who knew?

The greeting is stamped with Memento Black ink and punched with the Label Me Lovely punch., which I layered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also add a few pearls that were in my stamping stash!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Winter Snow and Sunflowers-Favorite Things friday!

Well it has been snowing here in St. Louis for the last two days. One of my favorite things is a fresh snow, shoveling, not so much. I think we accumulated at least 9 inches of snow yesterday and was out shoveling twice. Needless to say that was my exercise for the day. Today, I am hoping for sunny skies and although we are a long way off from sunflowers, we can always craft them right?

Today’s card begins with a Early Espresso card base and a little hope for sunshine. I added a piece of the Sale-a-bration DSP Afternoon Delight to the left side and dry embossed another piece of Early Espresso with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder.

The flowers are colored with our Stampin’ Blends. The tag was created with the Double Oval punch and embellished with some linen thread. This stamp set, Jar of Flowers, is available in the 2021-2022 annual catalog. Happy Stamping!

Sweet As A peach-Thank You!

Today’s project features the Sweet as a Peach Bundle and the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper in the 2021-2022 annual catalog.

I began with a Calypso Coral card base and two pieces of the You’re A Peach DSP that measures 3 x 4. I choose the floral and the polka dot. You will also need a few pieces of Basic White cardstock.

I stamped the peaches in Calypso Coral ink and cropped them with the coordinating dies from the bundle. I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink directly to the white cardstock panel and then added the peaches. The greeting is stamped in Memento Black and all is layered on the card front.

I also added a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card. I had fun creating the layers for this card and hope you will too. Plus it was super easy and went together very quickly.

The greeting is from Blessings of Home. I am bumming because it is a little crooked. I knew I should have used the Stamparatus. Oh well, I guess it has that homemade look.

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Thank You Cards-Favorite Things Friday!

One can never have too many Thank You cards on hand and while one of my favorite things is creating Christmas cards, I also love it when our Holiday sets can be used for more than one occasion.

Today I am featuring two thank you cards that I created using the Penguin Place Bundle and the Angel of Peace stamp set from the July -December mini catalog. If you have not had a chance to check these out, here they are!

The first card was created using a Basic White card base and Pacific Point ink. I love these adorable penguins and you can dress them up for whatever however you want. The stars in this set stamp beautifully and will be great for a variety of occasions.

I punched out my penguins using the coordinating punch in the bundle, but you could also stamp them directly onto the cardstock. The feet were stamped directly to the Basic White card panel and I just popped the penguins on top.

Supplies

  • Pacific Point CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
  • Basic White CS-4 x 5¼ (2), 3×4
  • Penguin Place Bundle
  • Pacific Point Ink
  • Calypso Coral Ink
  • Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue

My second card was created with the Angels of Peace stamp set. I love how soft and elegant this set is and it is perfect for a sweet thank you card. Add a little color and a few pearls and you have a super sweet, but incredibly simple thank you card.

Supplies

  • Night of Navy CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
  • Basic White CS-4 x 5¼ (2), 1 x 2
  • Angels of Peace Stamp Set
  • Artistically Inked Bundle
  • Night of Navy Ink

Festive Fall and Gorgeous Leaves

Thanks again to my friend Cherie from Columbia, MO who created both of today’s cards. She came to visit at the beginning of October to attend the Cards and Cocktails event that I hosted for World Card Making Day. That was great fun and we are definitely doing that again, although I don’t think I am going to wait until next October! I was thinking of a January event to ring in the new year, stay tuned for details on when and where!

Both of today’s cards were created using the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set. It is quite appropriate as the weather here in St. Louis is quite brisk. The leaves are beginning to turn, but are not as vibrant as the ones in our card samples,! Oh well, perhaps next year.

Supplies for Card #1

  • Night of Navy CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
  • Basic White CS-4 x 5¼ (2), 1 x 2

  • Stamp greeting from Nature’s Harvest in Night of Navy ink on 2 x 2 White CS panel and crop with label die in bundle.
  • Attach greeting label with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Add 4 x 5 ¼ white panel to the inside and decorate as desired.

Card # 2 is again using the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle and some rich fall colors. It is stepped up from the last card and I absolutely love how it turned out. This would make such a great male birthday card or even a sympathy card.

  • Very Vanilla CS- 4 x 5 ¼ and 1 ½ x 3 1/2
