Hey all I hope you are having a fantastic week. The weather in St. Louis is gorgeous, although I am not sure how long that will last, but hey at least we have a break from the heat! Praise the Lord. Today I am sharing with you a super fast and easy birthday card using the Textured Floral stamp set.

My color combo is Granny Apple Green and Blackberry Bliss, so rich and beautiful. If only I had flowers like this in my garden. LOL

Really the hardest part of this card is making sure your cardstock to be embossed is straight and does not shift in the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine. The background on our card today was created using a new embossing folder that will be coming in the next mini catalog. The Birch Wood embossing folder will be a great addition for your fall card making, but it also makes a great textured background as you see in today’s video.

I used a Basic White card, some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and a panel of the new In-Color Petunia Pop. These colors come together to make a stunning card. I also used the Spotlight on Nature leaves and butterfly. See video for more detials.
