Favorite things Friday-Online Exclusives and Clearance!

Happy Friday! If you are like me then two of your favorite places to visit on the website is the Clearance Rack and the Online Exclusives page. Right now Stampin’ Up! has added some new product to both the Online Exclusives section and the Clearance Rack. Click on the buttons below and Happy Shopping!

Our Make It Monday tutorial this week featured the Trick and Treat dies from the 2023-2024 Holiday Mini Catalog. CLICK HERE if you missed that video. I know the weather is really nice here in St. Louis, but I expect it to be feeling like fall soon. Either way Halloween is quickly approaching so I hope you enjoy today’s card!

I began with a Basic White card base and added a layer of Them Bones Designer Series Paper to the card front. I then cut a 3 x 4 piece of designer series paper from that same pack. I created a Basic Black mat that measures 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 and added both to the card front.

The greeting is from the Throughout the Year set. This greeting set is quickly becoming my favorite although I wish they would have included a Happy Anniversary stamp. It seems like we could use a few more Thinking of You, Sympathy and Happy Anniversary sets, at least in my stamping stash!

I used my paper snips to cut around the greeting and attaching it to the card front using some Stampin’ Dimensionals. If you have been following me then you know I am in love with the stinkin’ cute ghosts from the Trick and Treat Dies but I have to admit these little skeletons are cuter than they are scary. It’s hard to have a scary dancing skeleton, right?

I hope this card gets you in the mood for the holidays. Stop by next week for more cards with the Them Bones Designer Series paper pack but until then, Happy Stamping!

Trick and Treat Dies

Halloween is just 27 days away! Have you bought your favorite candy? As I drive through my neighborhood I see a lot of Halloween decorations. It seems like Halloween is becoming as popular as Christmas, at least for decorating. Probably because there are so many really cute decorations at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn’s. Just look at this sweet sign that I purchased from Michael’s! Soooo cute!

And if that does not put you in the mood for fall, maybe today’s Halloween card will do the trick. I just could not resist these stinkin’ cute ghosts from the Trick and Treat Dies.

I started with a Basic Black card base and added a layer of Them Bones Designer Series paper. The haunted house, ghosts and labels are all cut using the Trick and Treat Dies. I cropped the label die twice and cut it in half making a black background at the top and bottom of the label.

I added a second piece of Them Bones DSP and used a blending brush to add some White Craft ink to the house. The Trick or Treat greeting is from the Throughout the Year featured on page 61 in the 2023 Holiday Mini Catalog. Happy Stamping!

Deck The Halls with Beary Cute Bundle

Happy Wednesday all! Today I am sharing a card that I created using two new Bundles in the 2023 Holiday Mini catalog, Beary Cute and Classic Christmas, along with the new Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper.

I began with a Night of Navy card base and added a layer of Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper that measures 4 x 5-1/2. I added a second layer of Designer Series paper (1-7/8 x 5-1/2) down the center. The greeting is from the Classic Christmas Bundle and stamped with Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White ink. I cropped the panel with our Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Stamp the polar bear with Memento Black ink and crop with the Beary Cute Punch. Stamp the scarf with Balmy Blue and then stamp the present with Night of Navy ink and Balmy Blue ink and fussy cut with Paper Snips. Add your favorite bling and you have a super sweet Christmas card. Happy Stamping!

Coffee With Friends-Favorite Things Friday!

Happy Friday everyone. Wow this week sure did fly by. I thought I would combine the Coffee and Friends stamp set with the Pick of the Patch Bundle for a fun summer into fall card.

I used my watercolor pencils to color in the friends and the bench. I stamped the grass from Oceanfront and then added some green coloring around it. The pumpkins were stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and fussy cut with my handy dandy Paper Snips. I decided to only add one Pecan Pie stem (punched from the Pumpkin Builder Punch) and then just colored the green stems on the two small pumpkins.

I used the Starry Sky cardstock for my card base and added a Basic White layer. The greeting and all the images are stamped with Pecan Pie. A lot of pie in this card. LOL!! Happy Stamping!

September InKing Royalty Blog Hop!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s September Blog Hop! The leaves are changing, Halloween is around the corner, and we are playing with orange tones that are sure to get you in the mood for Fall. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! Choosing a color for our blog hop today was pretty easy since we really only have one true orange, Pumpkin Pie. I love easy!!! At the end of this post is a list of all those who have created cards for you today. Have fun hopping with us today.

I began with a Basic Black card and added a splash of Them Bones Designer Series paper. After all I could not just go with only Pumpkin Pie. I do believe there is a bit of Cajun Craze in the piece I chose. And of course the star of my show today is Pick of the Patch. Four of my pumpkins were punched with the Pick of the Patch Builder Punch and the other two were fussy cut with my handy dandy Paper Snips. If you don’t own a pair of these scissors you are totally missing out! My greeting and the smiling pumpkin face is stamped with Memento Black ink-how easy is that!

I mounted my pumpkins on a piece of Basic White cardstock and added it to a Pumpkin Pie panel and then to a Basic Black panel that I cut out using the Deckled Rectangles. Since we don’t have any Deckled Square Dies, I cut the last side of the square using a rectangle die that was one size larger than my original cut. It worked like a charm-who knew??? The green leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink and the pumpkin stems with Pecan Pie. I do have a tip on how to punch out these adorable pumpkins without wasting paper, click here for that video.

Well that is all I have my friends, orange you glad you joined us! LOL Hahahaha I just could not resist. Really I hope you enjoy all the projects on our hop today! Your next stop is with Sue Jackson at Just Peachy Stamping!

Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
