One of my favorite things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is hosting in-person stamping events. Each month I host an afternoon and evening in-person stamp camp class. I love the friends I have created by hosting these events. It truly is one of my favorite things, spending time with friends and stamping of’ course.

Today’s card is just one we will be making today at camp. It features the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper, Evening Evergreen CS and the Brightest Glow stamp set. I accented the DSP with the Gold Specialty Paper featured in the 2022-2023 annual catalog. I love how elegant this card turned out.

I used the color combinations, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry inspired by Brian King. Thanks Brian, you really are the King of color combos! I choose the Fond of Autumn Bundle, because I really do love Fall. The Crushed Curry panel is dry embossed using the new Leaf Fall 3-D embossing folder and the leaf arrangement is colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.
I used the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine to crop to array of leaf images and arranged them together. TIP: I did use my Paper Snips to cut away some of the images on one of the fall florals so they would fit together and accent the acorns. The greeting is from Very Best Occasions and is cropped with the banner from Stylish Shapes Dies.
With Thanksgiving being only 8 days away, there is so much to be thankful for and today’s blog hop is a perfect way to celebrate gratitude! So I thought I would share one more “Thanks” card with you. This is the card I created for my November card class for the residents at Mother of Good Counsel Nursing. I am so thankful to these men and women who challenge themselves monthly to be creative.

I used the Hello Harvest Bundle and again the Leaf Fall embossing folder. Although this greeting is fantastic, it is retired. I love pulling out some oldie but goodie retired stamps for my friends the nursing home.

This embossing folder is quite versatile. As you can see for today’s card I simply cut out the floral image with Fresh Freesia cardstock and did not emboss the images. I did use the Stampin’ Blending Brush to add a bit of Fresh Freesia ink around the edges for added definition.
The greeting is stamped in Fresh Freesia ink using the Flowers of Friendship stamp set. This card is also featured in the video, so again if you missed that, click here! Happy Stamping!

One of my favorite things about Christmas is the lights on a Christmas tree. We typically decorate our tree with both the big old fashion colored bulbs and tiny white lights. The combination is fun and festive.
Now I did not say I enjoy putting them on the tree, but I love how they look when it is all decorated. I think you will love today’s tree card. I features the Trees for Sale stamp set in the July-December 2022.

My basic card colors are Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron. While I did add a splash of color with a Daffodil Delight star and some Cherry Cobbler ornaments, I still love the look of the Shaded Spruce with Mint Macaron. I did not get the coordinating dies during Sale-a-bration 2022 so I fussy cut my tree.

I am not sure what kind they are supposed to be, but I do know the most popular Christmas trees are the Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Scotch Pine and Colorado Blue Spruce, with the Balsam Fir being the most fragrant.

Have you ever noticed how it’s quieter when it snows? This is just one reason I love going in the hot tub when it snows. Not only is it pretty to watch, everything just seems so still and quiet. Well guess what? It is. It turns out that snow is pretty porous and acts as a sound buffer making the world a quieter place. I think that is so amazing! So next time it snows, take a listen and see how quiet it makes your neighborhood.
Today’s card was created using the snowflake dies in the Celebrate With Tags Bundle. It is a super simple card. Sometimes simple really is the best.

I began with a Basic White card base and added a panel of Night of Navy on the left side. The greeting, stamped with Night of Navy ink, is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set. Just cut a few snowflakes, add a few rhinestone bling and you have a super simple and sweet card for the holidays.
Now all you have to do is create a fun tag to go along with this card. I am sure you will create something great, after all, it is a Celebrating With Tags Bundle. LOL

Did you know the poinsettia is typically considered a Christmas flower, and many people give them around Christmas time to symbolize good will and community spirit. In religious communities, the shape of the poinsettia flower is thought to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, with the red leaves of the poinsettia symbolizing the blood of Christ.
My card today was created using the poinsettia from the Merriest Moments stamp set and the Designer Series Paper, Lights Aglow. The set and dies are returning favorites and featured on page 23 in the July-December holiday catalog.

Happy Monday everyone. In today’s video I share with you a tip on how to maximize your designer series paper and create two beautiful poinsettia cards for the holidays. Our designer series paper is so gorgeous I hate to waste any of it. I hope you enjoy today’s tip and cards.
Today’s gospel invites us to trust that Jesus will never forsake us. It is an invitation to a deeper belief in the resurrection, which is the foundation of our faith.
What sustains you in times of adversity? When you are facing difficulties in life or with your health, what gives you strength? For me it is prayer and the steadfast trust in the hope of our resurrection.
Jesus calls us to be people of hope. Try not to be discouraged by situations of this world, but rather fix your eyes on Jesus and trust in His divine love. Stay connected to God through prayer, in good times and in bad, and then when death comes it will not be the end of our connection with God.
So today, let us put our hope in God’s promise that He will never abandon us. Allow God’s love and grace to fill us with joy and trust that one day we will be united with our loved ones in heaven.
