Country Bouquet Punch ~ Make It Monday #144

Happy Monday! It is time for another Make It Monday video tutorial and today I am sharing three cards that I created using the Country Bouquet Punch. Two of the cards are traditional heart cards, great for Valentine’s Day or that special Anniversary. You could even change up the greetings and make them wedding cards.

My third card is a more out of the box card. I created some tulip looking flowers from the leaf portion of the Country Bouquet punch. I hope you have fun creating with this punch. This punch is featured in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. CLICK HERE or the photo below to access today’s Make It Monday video.

Happy Hearts ~ Favorite Things Friday!

I do love Valentine’s Days and those sweet tart conversation hearts are delicious but I really don’t make a lot of Valentine’s Day cards anymore. My kids are grown and sending Valentine’s Day cards to your friends is just a little awkward. LOL I typically do not buy Valentine’s Day stamp sets and so I thought the Country Bouquet punch might be a perfect fit to create a fun love card.

So if you are like me and don’t want to invest in Valentine’s Day stamp sets why not check out the County Bouquet punch featured on page 148 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

So if you have Valentine’s Days cards now is the time to get started. Valentine’s Days is just 26 days away! Happy Stamping!

Party Fun and Happy New Year! December InKing Royal Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects.

This month’s projects are all about party fun – festive gatherings like New Year’s, birthdays and other fun times. How fun! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Today I am excited to share a super simple Happy New Year card using the Gold/Rose Gold Specialty Paper. This paper pack is perfect for that added sparkle on all your holiday cards.

I began with a Very Vanilla card base and keeping with my them of simple but elegant, added an embossed layer of trees (Evergreen Forest folder) in Very Vanilla CS.

I then used the Gold/Rose Gold Specialty paper and cut Happy New Year with the Word Wishes Dies (pg. 166 AC). I used a small hole punch to create the added bling from the remains of my cut outs. This paper is so gorgeous I just did not want to waste any of it.

For the inside of my card I stamped the greeting from Heartfelt Wishes using Cinnamon Cider Ink and added some more homemade bling!

I do wish Stampin’ Up! had a Gold ink pad, as the Cinnamon Cider does not match perfectly, but it is close. I could have heat embossed the greeting with VersaMark ink and our Gold Embossing powder, but then it would not be a super simple card. LOL

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and will hop along to our next stop at Avery’s Owlery with Lynn Kolcun. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Have a Blessed Christmas and a Very Happy New Year! And before you leave please help me in wishing my upline and amazing leader, Brian King, a very Happy Birthday-with a sneak peek at the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle!

Happy Birthday Brian!!! Rain Boot Bundle coming January 4, 2022!

Cheers to 2021

Well it is back to work today. I have been blessed to be off the week between Christmas and New Year’s, but now it is time to get back to reality. I am going to miss my craft room. Good news is I know what retirement looks like and I think I like it!

Today we are saying good-bye to 2020 and also farewell to the Aug-Dec mini catalog. That’s right folks, today is the last day to get those Christmas stamps from 2020. Tomorrow we usher in the 2021 SALE-A-RATION EVENT and for every $50 you spend, you earn FREE product!

My card for this post features the Pallet Thoughts and the Whiskey Business set….very manly don’t you think??? I thought it would be fun to post one last here’s to 2021 card!!!!

  • Begin with a Crumb Cake card base 5½ x 8½”. Score in landscape position at 4¼”.
  • Layer a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Early Espresso on card front.
  • Using the Stamparatus, stamp the wooden plank stamp from Pallet Thoughts in Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake cardstock, repeat several times. Cut the planks into ¾ x 4” strips.
  • Layer strips unevenly onto a 3 ¾ x 5” piece of white cardstock covering the entire piece to create a wooden plank floor and even up the borders.
  • Layer wooden floor on to the Early Espresso panel.
  • Stamp the Whiskey Decanter and two whiskey glasses in Cinnamon Cider ink on some Very Vanilla cardstock and fussy cut with your paper snips. Use a water painter, add some color to the decanter and glasses and layer on the plank floor panel.
  • Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, cut 2021 using the Playful Alphabet dies and layer on card front.
  • Stamp the Cheers to you image in Cinnamon Cider on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out keeping only the Cheers to.  Layer on Cinnamon Cider and then on Early Espresso cardstock and attach to front of card.
  • For the inside add a 4 x 5 ½” layer of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
  • Stamp an image of another glass inside and color with water painters.

Both of these stamps sets are great for the men in your life. I hope your year to come really is the best yet! Here’s to making 2021 a more social and normal like year!
