Here is another amazing set coming in January as part of Sale-A-Brations 2022! This is a set and paper combo and can be yours free with a $100 purchase beginning January 4, 2022.
Both of today’s cards began with a Pool Party card base. In this first card, I stamped the greeting directly onto the DSP.
Textures and Frames is just one of the many sets you can earn FREE during our August- September Sale-a-bration event. Sale-a-bration will run through September 30th. For every $50 you spend, earn a free set, pack of paper or die set. A free download of the SAB catalog is available on the side bar of this post, or if you are going mobile, it will most likely appear after the end of this post.
I guess you could say watching the Summer Olympics inspired this card. While these are not Olympic colors, I used four of the five new in-colors, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. I began with a Basic White card and added a layer of Polished Pink, followed by a 3 3/4 x 5 layer of white where I stamped the circles from the Textures and Frame set.

I love all the flower designs that come in the True Love Designer Series paper pack. They are especially beautiful when colored with the Stampin’ Blend alcohol markers. Tulips are my favorite flowers and I love that they bloom in a variety of colors. The only bad thing, they don’t stay in bloom long.

If you are like me then you love looking at the catalog for all the amazing card designs. Today my card, created with my crafting friend this past weekend, was CASED from the January – June catalog. If you are not familiar with the term CASE, it is what we crafters lovingly refer to as Copy And Share Everything.
While this card was not copied exactly, it is close. We used the Art Gallery Bundle. See if you can spot the difference.

The Simply Elegant Designer Series paper pack truly is elegant and I created this card for a friend of mine who will be ordained a priest in a few weeks. It is simple and yet elegant, gee I wonder who named this paper pack.
I used Smoky Slate and Cajun Craze cardstock. It is amazing how the Smoky Slate takes on a silver hue and the Cajun Craze a copper hue when combined with this extraordinary paper. I will definitely be adding another pack to my next order.

Flowers are so wonderful and I am so sad to see this beautiful stamp set retire. I know that we have a lot of other floral sets to choose from, but there is just something so fresh and clean about this set. I hope you enjoy today’s creation.
Don’t forget this set will be retiring at the end of the month, so add it to your collection while you still can. If you plan to spend less than $150, please use the current host code.
Today’s card features the Field of Flowers stamp set that is pictured on page 117 in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. You can also download the pdf version of this catalog from the home page of my blog.
Begin with a Basic white cardstock that measures 5 ½ x 8 ½”. In landscape position (AKA-long side), score at 4 ¼”, burnish and fold. This will be your card base.
Cut a 4-1/8 x 5-1/8” piece of Real Red cardstock and attach it to the card front.
Next cut a 4 x 5¼” piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock and use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to dry emboss with the new Painted Texture embossing folder. Attach this to the red panel.
Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine and the Layering Circle dies to crop a Costal Cabana scalloped circle and the Stitched Shape dies to crop a white circle.
Stamp in flower stems in Just Jade and the flowers in Real Red onto the white circle. Attach the white to the costal cabana circle and set aside.
Cut a 2 x 4” piece of Costal Cabana and a 1-7/8 x 4” piece of Basic White cardstock. To the white cardstock, stamp grass stamp in Just Jade and then again in Granny Apple Green.
Stamp the small flowers in Real Red and punch them out using the Confetti flowers coordinating punch included in the bundle. Randomly layer them along the grass using liquid glue or glue dots. Stamp “Thinking of You” with Real Red ink and add a few more flowers
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped flower image previously created in step 5.
Now you see why I love this set so much! I hope your day is filled with sunshine!
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
