I began with a Basic White card base and added a layer of my favorite pinks, Polished Pink. Polished Pink is part of the 2021-2023 In-Colors. The second layer of white is stamped with one of the flowers from the set. The greetings which is also from this set is stamped in Memento Black Ink.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the flower in Polished Pink and Old Olive. This amazing positioning tool makes it super easy to add multiple colors. The pink pearls are from the Pastel Pearls. The white stamped panel is attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This is a super simple design that took just a few minutes to create.

Well, I seems to be stuck on the Fall theme this week and that is a great place to be stuck. Check out the festive fall stamps sets in the holiday mini catalog. I guess I am looking forward to putting out all those fall and Halloween decorations. Today’s card features the greeting from the Hello Harvest Bundle, the pumpkin paper from Rustic Harvest, and the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I began with a Cajun Craze card base, added a layer of Basic White and then two 3 x 4 panels, one cut from the pumpkin paper in this pack and the other from Cajun Craze cardstock.

I stamped the greeting with Cajun Craze ink and cut the banner looking die from Stylish Shapes Dies for my greeting. If you missed these dies, they are in the 2022-2023 annual catalog and will be the perfect go to shapes for your next card creation. Here is a closer look at the dies and the paper pack.

Leaf Fall Harvest

Fall-Halloween-Thanksgiving Cards / August 10, 2022

I know that is it back to school time and that just makes me think of fall. Also, fall is my favorite time of the year. Here in the Midwest we have the treat of changing seasons. I think many of us will be welcoming fall after a very hot summer!

Today’s card features the new Leaf Fall embossing folder and the Hello Harvest bundle. I began with a Very Vanilla card base and added another layer of Very Vanilla that I embossed with this gorgeous new folder. I stamped the pumpkin from the bundle and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends Pumpkin Pie Combo.

I stamped the Hello in Early Espresso on a scrap of Very Vanilla and used my paper snips to fussy cut around it. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the pumpkin and the mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for the greeting. This was a super quick card that does not require a lot of product, yet it looks festive.

Autumn Wishes – Rustic Harvest

I hope you have had a chance to check out the gorgeous paper in the Rustic Harvest paper pack featured in the July – December Holiday catalog. It is the perfect pack for creating cards for the fall. I love the colors and the fun fall patterns. For today’s card I used a 3-7/8 x 4-3/8 piece of the floral paper and added a panel of Daffodil Delight and then a layer of Merry Merlot.

My card base is also Merry Merlot and although I probably did not need the extra layer of Merry Merlot, I like how it turned out. I cut the butterfly from the paper using my paper snips and added it in the center of the flower. The greeting is heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I began with a Basic White card base and added several layers, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and that amazing Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper. The Happy Anniversary is from the Celebrate You set and stamped with Melon Mambo Ink. I used the Stamparatus so that I could ink the flower in Melon Mambo and the leaves in Old Olive. I really do love the versatility of our Stamparatus!

Thinking of You / August 4, 2022 / Bewitching Bundle, Wisteria Wonder Bundle

Hey all I am back again with one more card using the Bewitching Bundle! #blessedbycards This time I was really trying to think outside the box, so I added the greeting from the Wisteria Wishes stamp set. This is a another amazing new bundle featured in the 2022-2023 annual Catalog. I featured the Wisteria Wonder Bundle in one of my Make it Monday videos and used the flowers to create a Christmas tree scene. CLICK HERE if you missed that video. #blessedbycards

I decided to use another piece of the Gorgeous Grape CS for my card base. I used the star stamp to create a background on the 4 x 5¼ white panel using Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry and Highland Heather inks. I again added a bit of Gorgeous Grape ink to the 3 x4 white panel before stamping the feet and greeting. This panel is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a ribbon or bling to finish off your project.

Today I began this card with a Gorgeous Grape card base and added a bit of Gorgeous Grape sponging around my Basic White panel using a sponge dauber. Bewitching Bundle-Gingham Cottage

I hope you have had a chance to check out the new Gingham Cottage Designer Series paper in the July-December 2022 Holiday catalog #151651. It has some amazing colors and this 12 x 12 pack of paper has 48 sheets. The orange patterned design is perfect for today’s Halloween card which also features the new Bewitching Bundle #159857 #blessedbycards

I began with a Basic Black card base and added a layer of the Gingham Cottage DSP. I stamped the witches feet with Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blend markers, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green. The hat is also stamped in black on a scrap of Granny Apple Green CS and punch using the Witch Hat Builder punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach it.

The sweet little stars are also on the punch, so I used a piece of scrap Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green CS and attached to white panel. The stinkin’ cute spider, although I really hate spiders, adds the perfect touch to this fun, and semi-spooky card. I attached the Basic White panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This is just one of the cute Halloween sets available in the July-December catalog. Check them out, Collect them all. I am sure your kids, grandkids and neighbors will love getting a card from you.

Today I am excited to share with you the Bokeh Technique so you can create a fun background for your next card. Bokeh actually means the visual quality of the out-of-focus areas of a photographic image, especially as rendered by a particular lens. I created my background using Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz inks. You will also need a sponge dauber and some Basic White Craft ink.
