I just love it when our stamp sets and paper coordinate and today’s cards is a perfect match. I took a piece of the Meandering Meadows Designer Series paper (online exclusive product) and paired it with the new Hills of Tuscany stamp set featured in the January 2024 mini catalog and I have to admit, I like the results. I was not initially going to get this set, but my daughter thought it would be cool and she was right!

Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper

I chose my designer series paper from the pack and cut it to be 4 x 5 -1/4. I then stamped the house and tree images from the directly to the designer series paper. I stamped the house with Cajun Craze, the roof with Gray Granite, the trees with Garden Green and the pebbles with Early Espresso Ink.

The greeting is stamped with Memento Black and then I added the panel to a Petal Pink card front. I love how the Petal Pink coordinates perfectly with the shaded sky in this paper. This paper pack is an online exclusive and coordinates with the Garden Meadows Bundle.

Thank You-Garden Meadow Favorite Things Friday

If you have not checked out the variety of online exclusive bundles, now is the time. Garden Meadow is one of those bundles you will not want to miss. I created a Thank you card for todays post, and will be back on Monday with three more card creations with this bundle for my Make It Monday video tutorial. Garden Meadow Bundle

I began with a Basic White card and added a layer of Blueberry Bushel, but before I added it to my card front, I cropped the arch die from the bundle.

I stamped the “thank you” greeting from Trusty Tools in Blueberry Bushel ink. The wheel barrel is stamped with Memento Black ink and cropped with the coordinating die. One of the great things about this bundle is that there is a die to cut out all the images (except the greetings). I used a variety of Stampin’ Blend Combo markers to add some color and added the image to the card front using our famous Tombo liquid glue.

Flowers in the Winter-Painted Lavender!

I thought since it is really rainy and snowy this week having a pop of spring would be nice. Flowers are always fun, no matter what the season. This summer my husband and I planted some Knock Out Roses, mainly because I don’t have a green thumb and I heard these were virtually indestructible. Well, three out of the five plants began to bloom and this past week even though the temperatures were very cold, one single rose appeared. I think that was my mom giving me a sign from heaven that she is still watching over all of us.

Today I am sharing a card I made with the new Painted Lavender Bundle. I did not actually use any of the dies from the bundle, just the stamps and a greeting from Timeless Arrangements. Cards flowers are the best, because they always look good, cost relatively little investment and are definitely indestructible. LOL

I began with an Orchid Oasis card base and stamped two lavender leaves with Orchid Oasis ink on a 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic White CS, mounted it on a layer of Orchid Oasis, then another Basic White panel and finally to the card front. I stamped some leaves with Old Olive ink, but stamped off first using the second generation as my image. I also stamped some of the grass at the bottom.

The greeting is stamped in Orchid Oasis, mounted on a 5/8 x 2-1/2 panel of Orchid Oasis CS and attached to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. This would also make a fabulous Easter card!

Make It Monday #141 Trusty Tools Bundle

Happy Monday everyone and Happy New Year. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday. I know we were all celebrating at the Novak house. It is always great to gather with friends and family no matter what the season. I have to admit there is something about Christmas that makes me what to spend more time baking and sitting in front of the fire watching Christmas movies than crafting! That is the only time of the year though….all the other days, for sure crafting all the way!

One of my Christmas gifts was a new computer from my family. I am so blessed. My son actually built my computer and trust me it is way faster than my old one, believe me it was old. The only problem with building your own was waiting on USPS to deliver the correct part, hence the technical difficulties. LOL
