Don’t you hate it when one of your favorite stamp sets gets moved to the retiring list? For me it is the Flowers of Beauty. While I am extremely happy that I purchased this set, it is always sad to say good-bye when sets retire. As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I try to feature our most recent products. Even though I don’t feature them on my blog or in my stamping classes, I will for sure be keeping this one in my stash to create cards to gift and to sell.

This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad! Today is a glorious day and one that is filled with hope. And even if your days still feel dark and empty, Christ is with you walking beside you, in your despair, in your emptiness, in your hope, and in your joy. Step by step he is leading us to His kingdom in heaven.
It is a time to reflect on the truth of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. He truly is alive in our hearts. He is with us in our darkest fears. So let us call on the Holy Spirit to renew our hope and remain steadfast in prayer. Let us celebrate God’s unfathomable love, grace, and mercy and allow it to transform our faith with a renewed hope for a joyous future.
Have A Blessed Easter Season!

Happy Friday everyone. It is almost Easter and time to celebrate our risen Lord. I hope you have great cause to celebrate and gather with family this holiday. Today’s Easter card was created using a retired set, Thoughout the Year, and a last chance product, Flowers of Beauty. The two step flowers in this stamp set make it super easy to create a five minute Easter Card.
I stamped the solid portion of my flower with Boho Blue ink (last chance product) and the detailed outline with Misty Moonlight ink. Before stamping the Boho Blue on my card front, I first stamped it off on a piece of scrap paper. This will give you a lighter look for your flower, but one that still coordinates perfectly with the Boho Blossom cardstock.
The Boho Blossom card base sized is A2 and I stamped my images on a Basic White panel that measures 4 x 5 1/4. I cut a 1/2 x 5 1/4 inch Boho Blosssom CS and added it across the width of my card just under the greeting. Just add bling of your choice and you are ready to go.
If you don’t have black dot bling, you can always cheat and use a black sharpie marker. I do this alot when stamping with my nursing home friends. The tiny bling pieces are too difficult for them to manage, but the sharpie works great! Happy Stamping! Have a Blessed Easter!

And now today’s bonus card…..
This is some of our retired patterned paper, but it is still a great choice. I mounted the three strips of DSP on a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of Crushed Curry, but you will want to choose a color that coordinates with your paper. For this sample I used the same paper pack, coordinating colors, but a different strip for each section. The greeting is stamped with Memento Black ink and fussy cut with our paper snips. I love our snips, they make fussy cuttings so easy. Click here for our paper snips!
I hope you enjoyed today’s video. Don’t forget to check out the new rewards program. Have a fantastic day…..Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday. It is time to think spring and my cards today are created using a stamp set called Spring Corners. This is a fun online exclusive stamp set, click here for all online exclusives.
The loss of a loved one can be devastating for those left behind, especially when a parent has to bury a child. Yesterday we said good-bye to our beloved angel Hayley. She was my youngest brother’s oldest child, and yet she was only 23. It is hard to understand why her life was cut dramatically and suddenly short, but our faith tells us this is not the end for she has gained eternal life with our Lord. Hayley was a strong, courageous, and joyful young lady who will be so missed.
Sometimes when God does not answer our prayers it feels like He has abandoned us, but despite our doubts, the fact is, He never leaves us. He loves us and walks through the valley of darkness with us. In these times when nothing makes sense, let us pause and ask God what He is trying to reveal to us, even in the midst of our suffering. Let’s open our hearts to the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to move us with love and compassion for others. One of the best ways to honor a loved one who has passed is to allow them to pass freely into the next life and then live on in hope that we will one day see each other again.
Hayley is now in the loving embrace of her Savior who was and always has been waiting for her with open arms. So let us allow the Holy Spirit enter into whatever pain is on our hearts. Let’s allow that Spirit to heal and transform us. We can be confident that Jesus is always with us, working in your lives, even when we do not understand how. Psalm 18:3: “The Lord is my rock and my fortress”.
Hayley was such a loving soul and God’s joy in her was a beacon of light for others. As we continue the final weeks of this Lenten season, I choose to honor her spirit by uniting my suffering to Christ on the Cross and to continue to spreading Christ’s love, joy, and mercy to others. I invite you to do the same.
Lord Jesus, give us a heart of wisdom and compassion. Open our eyes to see your presence in our lives.
Happy Wednesday. I am once again featuring two cards I created using the Friends of the Ocean paper pack. It is time to think about venturing out to the beach. Summer will be here before you know it.
Our first card was created using the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. I don’t often use this color, but it coordinates perfectly with this paper pack. Plus it is so vibrant and just plain fun! The greetings if from With You in Mind and is stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
Sticking with the colors in the paper our second card is the In-color, Summer Splash. It also coordinates perfectly, so fresh and summery! I stamped the greeting from Layering Leaves in Summer Splash and cut out some of our tiny ocean friends using my paper snips. If you watch the video, you will know why I needed to add the extra starfish.
Enjoy these fun summer colors and this paper pack of ocean friends while supplies last. Click here to view the online last chance products. Happy Stamping!

Thank you to all who have been praying for my niece Hayley.
It is with great sadness that we had to say good-bye to our sweet angel, yesterday. Hayley was a lover of all animals and lover of life, with so much joy and energy. She put up a good fight and now we are asking our God of mercy wrap her and her family in his loving arms and surround them with the Holy Spirit. Hayley, you were and will continue to be a beacon of joy for all of us. May your soul find rest! Until we meet again, we love you!
Today I am sharing with you three cards I created using the designer series paper, Friends of the Ocean. This paper pack and the coordinating bundle are on the Last Chance List. Be sure to check it out along with all the other retiring products.
I love the bright colors in the paper, especially during this rainy season. I hope you have a great time creating with this paper pack. Don’t forget to check out the coordinating stamps and dies on the Last Chance List before they are gone. Happy Stampin’!

Nobody likes to suffer and yet if you are human there is no way to get through this life without suffering. Thank you Adam and Eve! But the story does not have to end here. Jesus turned things around and God has given us Mary, the new Eve who said yes to all of God’s divine plans. We too must say yes Lord, your will be done.
Jesus takes suffering and purifies it, redeems it, and redeems us. And if we enter our suffering united with Jesus on the Cross, we find a renewed strength, a renewed sense of hope. Yes, at times we are like Mary desolate at the foot of the Cross hoping for mercy and wondering what is God’s divine plan in our lives. This is where trust enters in and transforms us, allowing us to surrender always to His Divine Will. I did not say it would be easy, but if we keep our eyes fixed on our redeemer on the Cross, we will find the strength to carry our individual cross, no matter how heavy it may seem.
So this week and for the rest of Lent, let us seek the Lord and renew our hope. From Psalm 105: Let the hearts that seek the Lord rejoice, turn to the Lord and his strength, and constantly seek his face.
In your mercy, please continue to pray for my niece Hayley, who is battling stage 4 brain cancer last month and has been in a coma since March 13th. Yesterday, she was taking off the ventilator and is breathing on her own. Doctors told my brother she would never breathe on her own as there was too much damage to her brain. God has shown them otherwise. God in your infinite mercy, we claim a full and complete healing through the intercession of Sr. Clare Crockett-All or Nothing! Jesus we trust in you, take care of everything.
Hayley Mattern keep fighting! We love you!
Sr. Clare Crockett, in union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, please grant Hayley a compete and totally healing!
Thank you all for praying with me, my brother, and his family!
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
