More Holiday Fun with Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper!

I am loving how quick and easy it is to create simple and sweet holiday cards with our Christmas patterned paper. There is still time to add this paper to your shopping cart, but hurry because time is running out!

Evening Evergreen CS- 8½ x 5½ (card base),
Cherry Cobbler CS- ½ x 5¼
Painted Christmas DSP- 2¾ x 5¼
Basic White CS- 4 x 5¼ (2)
Christmas To Remember Stamp Set
Cherry Cobbler Ink
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive
Basic Jewel Rhinestones

Directions

Score card base in landscape position (aka longer side) at 4¼. Fold and burnish.
Layer Painted Christmas DSP to the bottom portion of white CS panel.
Attach strip of Cherry Cobbler.
Stamp greetings from Christmas to Remember i Cherry Cobbler ink & attach to card front.
Add three Rhinestone jewels on strip.
Add 4 x 5¼ white panel to the inside & decorate as desired.

I hope you get all your last minute projects completed on the Christmas Eve, Eve! HO HO HO! I am not sure what the weather is like in your neighborhood, but it does not appear as though St. Louis will be having a White Christmas this year! Oh Well!

Fun with Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper!

Today’s card features one of the many designs in the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper pack. I love this paper, well any Christmas paper really, but I must say the Stampin’ Up! paper is very high quality. I know sometimes that is hard to see online, but trust me the thickness and brightness of this paper is amazing.

Supplies

Evening Evergreen CS- 8½ x 5½ (card base), strip 3/8 x 7½
Painted Christmas DSP- 4 x 5¼ (cut diagonally)
Basic White CS- 4 x 5¼
Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set
Evening Evergreen Ink
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive

Directions

Score card base in landscape position (aka longer side) at 4¼. Fold and burnish.
Cut Painted Christmas DSP in half diagonally & attach to Basis White panel.
Attach strip of Evening Evergreen along the diagonal, & cut off the excess.
Stamp greetings from Holly Jolly Wishes in Evergreen Ink as shown & attach to card front.
Add 4 x 5¼ white panel to the inside & decorate as desired.

Simple Stamping with Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper

Flowers-Birds-Butterflies-Nature, Just Because Cards, Paper Crafting Ideas / October 5, 2021

Sometimes all you need is just a little simple stamping. For those of you unfamiliar, simple stamping is when a card is created using simply stamps, paper and inks. It is great for beginners because you do not need a ton of supplies, although you may want all the ink pads. LOL

Today’s card uses Highland Heather cardstock, Hand-Penned Designer Series paper, Memento Black and Highland Heather Ink and the Color and Contour stamp set. #simplestamping

Supplies

Highland Heather CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base), 3 x 4
Hand Penned DSP- 4 x 5 ¼
Basic White CS: 2-7/8 x 3-7/8, 4x 5¼
Basic White CS: 4 x 5 ¼ (inside)
Color and Contour Stamp Set
Memento Black Ink
Highland Heather Ink
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue

Directions

Directions:
Score card base in landscape position (aka longer side) at 4¼. Fold and burnish to create card.
Add Hand-Penned DSP panel to card front.
On Basic White CS, stamp flowers and greeting. Layer to Highland Heather and attach to card front.
Add 4 x 5¼ Basic White panel to the inside and decorate as desired.

Penguin Playmates – Favorite Things Friday

The number one thing on my list when I first got the Sale-a-Bration brochure was the adorable Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper pack and yes, I also have the Penguin Place bundle from the July – December 2021 mini catalog, page 33. I just can’t help myself, I love all things Christmas and most especially cute little Christmas playmates.

This paper is so much fun to cut up and create stinkin’ cute cards! I posted a video on Monday as part of my Make it Monday videos tutorials on how to use the Stitched Rectangles and this adorable paper. Click here if you missed that video. Check out my other videos by using the categories search located in the side bar of each post.

I started with a Soft Seafoam card base and added a layer of trees from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series paper pack. I tore a 3 x 4 panel of Basic White Cardstock in half and layered it on the DSP to resemble snow drifts. I then fussy cut some of the playmates with my Paper Snips and added them to the snow banks. Both greetings are from Evergreen Elegance.

Here is a look at the inside of my card! The white panel measures 4 x 5¼.

Card Challenges, Paper Crafting Ideas, Thank You / September 2, 2021

Today’s card was inspired from a card challenge that I did with my upline and private Facebook community. It is one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. If you would like to join us for these and many other private events, join my team today.

For my card challenge I started with a card base of Cajun Craze and added layer of the Simply Elegant Designer Series paper pack-I just love this paper. I added a strip and scallop circle using the Silver Foil Sheets, another favorite that pairs perfectly with this paper. The cut another circle from Smoky Slate and used the greeting from Simply Succulents. The circles are from the Layering Circle dies.
