Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. What a beautiful weekend here in St. Louis. My heart goes out to all affected by Helene! About 30 years ago our garage and basement flooded. What a mess, but nothing compared to our friends in Florida. I can only imagine the valley of emotions as you begin recovery and clean up. Our prayers are certainly with you.
For those of you more inland, hopefully you had a chance to get into you craft room for a bit of creating. Today, I am excited to share with you the Stack, Slice, and Shuffle technique to create three…..well perhaps six cards. Stay tuned this week to see the other three.
Happy Monday everyone. Today I am excited to share three cards for three different occasions using the birdies from the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle feature in the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog. I used an embossing folder for each card. It is amazing how a simple embossed layer enhances our card projects.
I love how sweet these cards turned out and it is all because of those stinkin’ cute birds! This is definitely a set to add to your stash. It is so versatile I know you will have fun creating cards for any season.

Did you know that Greetings of the Season and Everyday Greetings are sister bundles. These two online exclusive stamp sets go hand in hand and today I am sharing some double fun with these two bundles. I created a Happy Anniversary and a Happy Birthday card using some Summer Splash cardstock and designer series paper. And no you are not seeing double but I did create basically the same card for both greetings!
The flowers are actually the greenery in Golden Greenery, so I love how that stamp can double as a floral image. It also looks great as a Mossy Meadow and Old Olive green accent. Golden Greenery is also in the online exclusive section. Click here or the images below for more online exclusive stamp sets and designer series paper pack.
The ‘Happy” is from the Greetings of the Season set and the Birthday and Anniversary is from Everyday Greetings. I love how they coordinate with the same font or you can mix it up and use different fonts on one greeting. Again I used Summer Splash but I am sure that any color would look great. I stamped off for the floral part of the stamp so that it would be a bit lighter.
If you have not checked out the online exclusives you will want to do that soon. I don’t want you to miss out on any of these amazing stamp sets. Have fun creating with different color schemes. Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday. Although it is almost fall, here in St. Louis the weather has been quite warm. The next few weeks are supposed to be in the 90’s which is not really typical for September. Oh, I am not complaining but I do hope we get some good fall weather in October.
I do have to wonder about all the young couples who are planning to get married this month. Chances are when they chose a September date they were not planning on summertime weather. While the weather might not be perfect for a wedding, today, I do have some pretty great wedding/anniversary and or birthday cards for you to create.
For today’s cards I used the Lifetime of Love stamp set and coordinating dies, which is featured in the 2024-2025 annual catalog. I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It Monday. Be sure to stop back on Wednesday for our Weekly Wednesday video series. Happy Stamping!

Join me in creating a fun card using the new Caring Leaves stamp set in the Holiday mini catalog. Although you may think this is a total fall set, today I am using three fun In-Colors for a spring/summer birthday card. I hope you enjoy this technique I am calling banner stamping.
This fun card will turn out differently every time depending on how you blend the colors on your banner panels and of course what colors you use. The Caring Leaves stamp set it perfect for this technique because of its’ solid bold lines. So grab your favorite colors and a few blending brushes and let’s get creating.

Wow, you are so going to love the new Nests of Winter Collection by Stampin’ Up. It includes and a beautiful wintery stamp set and coordinating dies, a Birchwood embossing folder perfect to enhance any card creation and some of the most beautiful designer series papers. I just can’t get enough of these adorable birds. My mom used to love watching the birds build nests in her backyard. I am sure if she were still with us she would have loved this bundle.
When I was in seventh grade I would dream of my house and the perfect husband. I imagined having 6 kids and a 2-car garage. Well, fast forward a few years-LOL-and I don’t have 6 kids or a 2 car garage, but hey I do have the perfect husband and two amazing kids. Blessed I am and today I am celebrating the birthday of my daughter. Who knew I would be old enough to have adult children.
Watching my daughter grow up into the beautiful, smart, thoughtful, and caring person she is today has been a real joy. God has blessed me beyond my wildest imagination and having an adult relationship with my daughter has been the greatest gift of all. Happy Birthday sweetheart, I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living your mommy I’ll be.

Today I am sharing with you how I turned one Paper Pumpkin card into three different birthday cards. This is an alternative way to create cards using your August 2024 Paper Pumpkin supplies. I probably should have titled this Paper Pumpkin Hack since I seriously hacked one of the kit cards to create 4 new cards. I will share my fourth card with you on Friday! Be sure to stop back for the fun!
I hope you enjoy these alternative cards. Be sure to stop back on Friday to see my fourth and final card from the August 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit. CLICK HEREfor more information on how to become an exclusive Paper Pumpkin member.

Did you know that 80 is the new 65? While I am not sure if that is a fact, it seems to be thing. Maybe it is because a lot of the Baby Boomers are turning 65! LOL It is that time again in the month when I go to visit my senior friends at Mother of Good Counsel Home.
Seriously though, did you know that many senior living communities can feel like neighborhood and living in senior living communities can prevent social isolation. That’s a good thing! Don’t worry about taking your beloved dog or cat because many of the communities are pet friendly. If that is not great enough many seniors can keep their independence and go on scheduled outing where transportation is provided. It’s like having your own chauffer. They even have fun classes like card-making. And here are the cards we are making today.
Card #1
Fun and Bright Colors -Lemon Lime Twist and Peach Pie
Use your favorite designer series patterned paper to create this card. I cut three strips that measure 3-3/4 x 1-1/2 and layered them on a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of Peach Pie. The greeting is from Sweetly Scripted and stamped on a strip of white-1 x 5 1/2.
Card #2
Soft and Subtle Retired Wisteria Wonder-try Highland Heather!
I just love the look of a monochromatic card, don’t you. The flower in this image is from a retired set, Calming Camellia and I also used some Wisteria Wonder ink and retired designer series paper. You can use any colors and patterns that you have on hand. I started with a Basic White card, add a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of Wisteria Wonder. The Basic White panel or the flower and greeting measures 2-3/4 x 4 and the patterned paper measures 3 x 4.
Card #3
Elegant Flower-Retired Rococo Rose and Pistachio Pudding
For my final card I again began with a Basic White card and added a 4×5-1/4 layer of Rococo Rose. I stamped the flower in Rococo and the leaves with Pistachio Pudding ink, both retired on a 3 x 5 Basic White panel. Remember I tend to use my retired stash for my senior friends.
I hope you enjoy today’s cards, I am sure my senior friends will be thrilled. They are a special group and we have a lot of fun crafting together. If you know someone who is not able to get out much then I encourage you to send them a hand-stamped hug! Happy Stamping!
